Syrenz Teaching Workshops in the Bay March 27th!
All bay area peeps! The Syrenz are gonna be up in San Jose this weekend! Saturday performing, and sunday workshops. Sat Party night! I got a couple comps so hit me up if u wanna be our guest for the party. =peppa
"Rock The School Bells" Conference is a student-led, student-organized event aimed to educate and empower the youth, students, and the communities at-large about the importance of education and personal development through the usage of hip-hop.
CONFERENCE INFORMATION (SATURDAY, MARCH 27, 9:00-4:30):
Workshops include:
Hip-Hop Basics: The Growth of the Culture by Zulu Gremlin, DJ Celskiii, Fluid Girl, Crykit aka Crix, MC Supernatural, Finesse and Iron Monkey of the Renegades Crew, and many others.
Women in Hip-Hop by Dr. Susie Lundy, Development Director of La Pena Cultural Center

Culture Shock LA H4 Event
Tiff "Jimini" did a 2 on 2 All Styles Battle with her bro, Josh "Ace" Ventura (www.breakdancedvd.com) on Feb 28. They were honored to win 1st place!
The event was hosted by Culture Shock LA (www.cultureshockla.com) and titled H4:"Hip Hop Has History". It was an all day dance conference aimed to educate and unite the community using Hip Hop's rich culture and history. The day consisted of a FREE kids Dance Day, adult workshops in dance styles such as Lockin', Breakin', and Poppin', a discussion panel with Hip Hop pioneers like Ana "Lollipop" Sanchez and Flat Top, and a Breakin' Battle and All Styles Battle.
Here's one her favorite battles of the whole night!! She was reunited with her Homeland family members : Dirty Harry and Tinman.
